Chairman

Dato' Sri Mohamed Khalid Bin Yusuf @ Yusup

Dato’ Sri Mohamed Khalid served as an Independent Non-Executive Director on the Board of Bintulu Port Holdings Berhad until his retirement in 2023. With a rich career spanning logistic and forwarding services, fuel bunkering, ships’ husbanding, transportation, wholesale trading, civil and mechanical contract works, manufacturing of heavy commercial vehicles, RFID track and trace technology solutions, indirect tax consulting, and advocacy for tax, trade, and investment policy reforms, he brings a wealth of experience.

Dato’ Sri Mohamed Khalid also held various management roles at the Royal Malaysian Customs Department, culminating in his retirement as the Director General of Customs.

Managing Director

Datuk Tai Hee

Datuk Tai Hee holds the position of Group Managing Director at Pan Sarawak Group and serves as the Managing Director of Pansar Berhad, a company listed on the Main Market of Bursa Securities. Additionally, he holds the role of Non-Independent Non-Executive Chairman on the Board of Reservoir Link Energy Berhad and serves as a director of Permodalan Saberkas Berhad.

Throughout the past few decades, he has actively represented Malaysia and Pan Sarawak Group in various industries through trade delegations, missions and working visits to numerous countries. He is Vice President of the Malaysia Japan Economic Association and has represented Malaysia on the East Asia Business Council Malaysia since 2016.

Datuk Tai Hee’s contributions extend beyond business, as evidenced by his membership on the Employers Panel of the Industrial Court from 2007 to 2012. He is the Vice-Chairman of Special Olympics Sarawak Chapter and Chairman of its Sibu Chapter.  He was also State Vice-President of SABERKAS, one of the largest youth movements in Malaysia, and is a board member of Permodalan Saberkas Berhad to this day.  He also helped establish Sibu’s AGAPE Centre to coalesce the efforts of five NGO’s (Sibu Autistic Association, Methodist Care Centre, Special Olympics Sibu Chapter, Association for Children with Special Needs, and Law King Howe Special Children’s Clinic) in attending to children with special needs.

For his contributions to Sarawak and Malaysia, he was decorated by TYT the Governor of Sarawak with Ahli Bintang Sarawak (ABS), Panglima Bintang Sarawak (PBS), Johan Bintang Kenyalang (JBK) and in 2016, he was conferred the federal award of Panglima Jasa Negara (PJN) which carries the title Datuk by DYMM Yang Di-Pertuan Agong.  In 2021, the Sarawak government appointed him as Pemanca for the Sibu community.

Non Executive Director

Abang Abdul Rahim Bin Abang Drashid

Abang Abdul Rahim is an experienced HSSE, Risk, and Leadership professional in the Oil & Gas industry. A versatile skill set of People & Process Safety, and Major Projects, with significant international exposures and proven track record leading HSSE implementation. Abang brings more than 30 years of cross-cultural experience within the Shell Group.

Abang is a Registered Lead Assessor for management systems and an Accredited Tripod Incident Investigation Practitioner.  He had also served as Senior Associate with JMJ Associates, HSSE Consultant with the Triple E Management Support Services BV, Resource Person for the Sabah Oil and Gas Development Corporation and Non-executive Director of Reservoir Link Sdn. Bhd. Presently, he serves as the Head of HSSE in Petroleum Sarawak Berhad (PETROS).

Interim Executive Director

Jamahari Bin Yun

Encik Jamahari was the General Manager of MISAR before his appointment as Director in 2020. Prior to his tenure at MISAR, he held prominent positions at Malaysia LNG Sdn. Bhd., Petronas LNG Sdn. Bhd., and Petronas LNG Ltd., where he managed shipping operations, fleet management, staff specialization, scheduling and delivery operations.

Deputy General Manager

Royston Anak Mengering

As the Deputy General Manager, Royston brings over a decade of dedicated experience to his role. Commencing his career journey with MISC Agencies (Sarawak) Sdn Bhd in 2005, he began as an LNG Operations Executive. His commitment remained unwavering even during the transition to MISAR Sdn Bhd in 2012, where he assumed the role of Head of Operations.

In his current capacity, Royston coordinates and oversees overall ship agency operations and warehouse management. His responsibility also includes fostering strong relationships with diverse stakeholders to uphold a standard of excellence in customer service.
